Stay-at-Home Date Night Ideas

Valentine's Day is right around the corner. But if you can't find a babysitter or couldn't get a reservation at your favorite romantic restaurant, don't worry. Here are 10 fun stay-at-home date night ideas.

Karaoke Night. Find YouTube videos with song lyrics in them, and sing your hearts out!

Make a Picnic. Either inside or out on the balcony, pack your meal in a basket, lay out a blanket and enjoy a picnic.

Go Camping. Set up the tent or build a fort with blankets, and eat s'mores fresh out of the oven.

Play "Chopped." For those unfamiliar, this Food Network show requires that participants cook meals and use all of the off-the-wall ingredients they are provided. Pick a few random ingredients from the cabinet and find a way to incorporate them into the meal!

Themed Dinner and a Movie. Italian Night? Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, cannolis for dessert and a showing of The Godfather.

Go Fancy. You don't have to go out to be fancy. Dress up, put a tablecloth and candles on the table, pull out your nicest dishes and enjoy a fancy night in the comfort of your own home.

Beer or Wine Tasting. Grab a few different bottles of whatever you've been eyeing at the store lately, and give them all a try.

Game Night. Break out the board games, like Monopoly or Scrabble, and have some old-fashioned technology-free fun.

A Different Kind of Game Night. If board games aren't your thing, challenge each other to video games. Mario Kart, anyone?

Spa Night. Give each other massages, and you'll feel relaxed and pampered just like if you went to the spa.
