Residential Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians and trainees
• Oversee day-to-day apartment maintenance, building repairs, and preventive maintenance programs
• Respond promptly to resident service requests and ensure work is completed to company standards
• Prepare vacant units for move-in (“make-ready” work)
• Maintain HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and appliances
• Ensure compliance with safety, Fair Housing, and company policies
• Manage maintenance inventory, tools, and property upkeep
• Conduct property inspections and maintain curb appeal
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and staff

Requirements

• 3–5 years of apartment or property maintenance experience
• Supervisory or team lead experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• EPA CFC Type 2 Certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of conditions
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
• On-call rotation required
